Tim Miller has announced that he will be stepping down as Monaken Lodge Adviser effective September 1, 2008. During the past 22 years, Tim has served as Nittany Chapter Adviser, Lodge Associate Adviser, and Lodge Adviser.

Scout Executive Jim Kennedy has announced that he has appointed Joe Strigle as the new Lodge Adviser.

Joe became a member of the Order of the Arrow in the Fall of 2003 and was inducted as a Vigil member in 2007. He currently serves Monaken Lodge as Membership, Ordeal, and Elangomat Advisers and has served in numerous other positions since becoming a member of the Lodge. Joe has been active in his unit, Troop 83 (Knights of Columbus) in State College where he currently serves a Troop Committee Chairman.

Please join me in thanking Tim Miller for his outstanding service to Monaken Lodge and the Council and congratulate Joe on his new position.
