Job Description

1. The chairman is responsible to the Lodge First vice Chief.

2. Encourages members who are Brotherhood to become an Elangomat and finds the appropriate number of Brothers to be Elangomats.

3. Follows the Guide to Inductions and the Lodge’s Elangomat Training Manual.

4. Coordinates with the Cheerfulness Committee at all Ordeal weekends.

5. Attends all executive committee and Lodge meetings, calling the appropriate officer when a legitimate reason prevents from attending a function.  Always provides a report for each meeting and submits important information to Communications.
